PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A construction worker is in serious condition Thursday evening after being run over by a semi.
It happened near route 23 close to Carter Lumber and at around 6:30 p.m.
The construction worker was reportedly in a work zone when hit by the semi. A medical helicopter was called to airlift the person to a trauma hospital.
The names of those involved have not been released.
