NEW BOSTON, Ohio — A woman has been charged with murder after law enforcement says she chased down a motorcyclist and killed him.

Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman responded to a request from New Boston Police Chief Carl Compton on Wednesday, asking the Sheriff’s Office to take over a death investigation in the quiet Village of New Boston.
Sheriff Thoroughman swiftly assigned his team of detectives to collaborate with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in investigating the incident. What unfolded was a series of disturbing events that left the community deeply concerned.
According to Sheriff Thoroughman, their investigative process involved interviews with witnesses and a meticulous review of multiple videos capturing the unfolding events. The chain of events began with a heated argument between a man and a woman near Swauger Valley Rd in Minford, Ohio.
The situation escalated when the man sped away on his motorcycle, with the woman in close pursuit. Allegedly traveling at high speeds, this pursuit spanned several miles, encompassing SR 823, SR 140, Sciotoville, and eventually U.S. 52, en route to New Boston.
Sheriff Thoroughman revealed that the office received numerous 911 calls reporting the incident. Callers recounted a woman driving an SUV aggressively chasing the male motorcyclist and attempting to collide with him. At approximately 6:40 p.m., the situation took a tragic turn. 911 callers reported that the SUV had collided with the motorcycle, causing it to crash.
In a disturbing development, witnesses claimed that the female SUV driver intentionally ran over the male, dragging him along the road before repeating the act. This harrowing incident unfolded in front of the CVS Pharmacy at 4207 Gallia Street in New Boston, Ohio.
The victim was identified as 44-year-old Darrell Scott Donahoe, a resident of 83 Shumway Hollow Road in Portsmouth. Despite medical efforts, Donahoe succumbed to his injuries after being transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center. His body was later transferred to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office for a thorough autopsy.
In response to the incident, law enforcement acted promptly, arresting 41-year-old Brooklyn Maxine Frazie, who also resided at 83 Shumway Hollow Road in Portsmouth, Ohio. Frazie now faces serious charges, including two counts of Murder, classified as a felony of the 1st degree, and one count of Reckless Homicide, also a felony of the 1st degree.
Frazie appeared in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Thursday, September 28, where she was allowed to post bond on the Reckless Homicide charge, set at $100,000. However, she remains in custody, facing the more severe murder charges.
