CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The KocheranStrong Foundation, in partnership with M.A.D.E. (Making A Difference Everyday), is organizing a Cornhole Tournament at the Unioto High School football field. Teams, comprising M.A.D.E. students from the surrounding area, are set to showcase their skills in a spirited competition.

Spectators are invited to partake in the excitement while enjoying culinary delights from food trucks and exploring crafts from local vendors in the parking lot. Entry for watching the tournament and perusing the vendors is by donation only, with all proceeds earmarked for the M.A.D.E. program. The funds raised will support students’ membership costs for the upcoming school year and other program needs.

This charitable event is an opportunity for the community to rally behind these exceptional students, contribute to a noble cause, and support local artisans. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Santa will be present from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., creating a memorable experience for the younger attendees.

Looking ahead, the KocheranStrong Foundation plans to host more public events. For the latest updates, interested individuals can visit their Facebook Page, “KocheranStrong-public page.”

Food vendors and craft enthusiasts still have a chance to participate in the event. Limited spaces are available, and those interested are encouraged to contact Eric Kocheran at “[email protected]” before Friday, November 17. In case of inclement weather, the alternate location for the event will be Unioto Elementary School.

The Kocheran Foundation was launched after the tragic shooting of Ross County Sheriff Sergeant Eric Kocheran last year.
