FRANKFORT, Ohio — Anna Loree Ackley, a senior at the University of Rio Grande, is set to conclude her academic journey with an exceptional achievement. Hailing from Frankfort, and an alumna of Adena High School, Anna has been awarded the $500 Athena Scholarship by the Chi Omega Alpha Sorority, a significant honor as she enters her final semester.
Anna, daughter of Billy and Andrea Ackley, is pursuing an education diploma with a focus on prekindergarten through fifth-grade primary education and kindergarten through twelfth-grade intervention. Her commitment to academic excellence and active participation in the sorority since joining in the Spring semester of 2021 made her eligible for this prestigious scholarship.
Expressing her gratitude, Anna advised fellow students to consider joining Chi Omega Alpha, emphasizing the organization’s supportive and empowering environment. She described the sorority as a “wonderful group of women who do anything for one another,” highlighting their camaraderie and mutual support.
