PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A joint operation by the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crime Task Force, along with local law enforcement, led to the discovery of a major methamphetamine distribution ring and the arrest of one suspect in Piketon County today.
According to a press release, authorities executed a search warrant at 909 Waldron Hill Road. During the raid, agents uncovered significant quantities of suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale, along with cash, digital scales, prescription drugs, and a firearm.
Tilden Thompson, 50, a resident of the property, was arrested on charges of having weapons under disability (F-3). The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office will present the case to a future grand jury for consideration of additional charges.
