PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Residents of Pike County can declutter their homes and help the environment by participating in the upcoming Appliance and Electronics Clean-up Event hosted by the Pike County Solid Waste District.

The event will run from April 14th to April 26th. Residents can schedule a convenient pick-up date for their unwanted appliances and electronics by calling the Pike County Solid Waste Office at 740-947-4104.

This year, televisions are also accepted! However, there are associated fees:

  • Up to 32 inches: $6
  • 34 and 36 inches: $8
  • Any TV over 36 inches: $12

Please note: Televisions will not be collected without payment.

Accepted items include:

  • Appliances: refrigerators, stoves, washers,dryers, microwaves, air conditioners, etc.
  • Electronics: televisions, computers,monitors, printers, keyboards, cell phones,etc.

Items not accepted:

  • Hazardous materials (paint, batteries, oil,etc.)
  • Yard waste
  • Construction debris
  • Furniture
