CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio — A crash on Route 68 resulted in the death of one driver.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Wilmington Post responded to the accident this morning at 6:19 am near mile marker 8 in Washington Township, Clinton County.
According to the preliminary investigation, a southbound 2012 Jeep Wrangler driven by 23-year-old Matthew L. Burge of Fayetteville crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound 2013 Ford F-150 driven by 29-year-old Garrett L. Allen, also of Fayetteville.
Mr. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. Burge is reported to have sustained injuries and was treated at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Wilmington Post.
