PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 9 office has announced upcoming construction projects affecting roadways in Pike County.
State Route 772 Slide Repair:
- Start Date: March 11, 2024
- Location: S.R. 772 between McKinney Road and S.R. 124
- Impact: One lane of traffic maintained with temporary signals for the duration of the project.
- Estimated Completion: Fall 2024
- Details: Crews will be working to repair a landslide on this stretch of roadway. Expect delays during construction.
County Road 50 Slide Repair:
- Start Date: February 12, 2024 (ongoing)
- Location: C.R. 50 (Watson Road) between Mutton Run Road and Hay Hollow Road
- Impact: Road closed to through traffic.
- Detour:
- Northbound: S.R. 335 to Higby Road to Old S.R. 35
- Southbound: Old S.R. 35 to Higby Road to S.R. 335
- Estimated Completion: Summer 2024
- Details: This road closure is necessary for repairs to a landslide.
