JACKSON, Ohio — The Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash alone Route 35 involving a semi near mile marker 3 in Jackson County.
The crash occurred during the overnight hours.
Agbessi Amouzoun, age 51 of Charlotte, North Carolina, was driving a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia semi, westbound on Route 35 when he drove off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail.
The semi, troopers said, went down an embankment and into a ditch.
No serious injuries were sustained in the crash.
Amouzoun was cited for failure to control.
US35 is expected to be condensed to one lane of travel throughout most the day while crews work to clean the scene.
