CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Federal authorities, including agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), conducted a raid on a downtown Chillicothe apartment on Monday as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
The apartment, located upstairs at 137 South Paint Street, was the focus of the operation. Authorities have clarified that the raid was not connected to the law office situated on the first floor of the same building.
During the operation, one individual was taken into custody. However, details regarding the identity of the person arrested and what was seized during the raid have not been released.
The Guardian has reached out to federal investigators for comment on the operation but has not received a response as of yet.
