CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A significant drug bust took place on Monday when the Chillicothe Police Department’s SWAT Team raided a residence on the city’s east side, according to authorities.
The operation was carried out at a home located at 748 Jefferson Avenue and is part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. During the raid, detectives seized two ounces of the deadly opioid Fentanyl, along with cash and firearms.
The occupant of the residence, 33-year-old Charles (Curtiss) Horsley, was arrested during the operation. Horsley is currently facing charges of having weapons under disability, a term used when certain individuals are legally barred from possessing firearms.
Authorities have indicated that additional charges against Horsley are forthcoming as the investigation continues
