JACKSON, Ohio — The Jackson Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus full of students.
It happened Thursday, along Betty Carlisle Road in Jackson County shortly after 3 PM. According to the post, Jennifer Nelson, 53, Jackson, was driving the school bus when she was struck by a 2002 Ford F-150 driven by 20-year-old Kyle Christian. Christian was allegedly backing out of a private driveway when it the two vehicles collided.
Authorities say the bus was occupied by 15 students. No serious injuries were reported in the crash. Mr. Christian was cited by troopers for improper backing.
