CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A police pursuit came to a dramatic conclusion this evening when the fleeing driver crashed into a home at the intersection of Seventh Street and Walnut Street in Chillicothe.
It happened on Monday when the chase began when local law enforcement attempted to apprehend a driver who was driving the wrong way down a one-way street. The pursuit ended abruptly when the driver lost control and crashed into a residential property.
Following the crash, an individual was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
IIt remains unclear whether the pursued driver was under suspicion prior to the incident or if the chase was prompted by the driver’s behavior on the road.
At this time, it is unknown whether there were any injuries sustained in the crash.

The suspect, described as an African American male juvenile, was last seen in the area of Grandview Cemetary.
