PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Firefighters from Ross County were dispatched to assist in battling a structure fire in neighboring Pike County on Tuesday afternoon.
The call for assistance came in shortly after 4:30 PM. The fire was reported in the 4000 block of Bell Hollow Road, where heavy smoke was seen billowing from the roof of the residence.
Upon arrival, firefighters noted significant smoke emanating from the roof. The Pike County Sheriff’s Office has also been requested at the scene. At this time, it is unclear whether the structure was occupied during the fire. The investigation into the cause of the blaze is ongoing.
