CHILLLICOTHE, Ohio — With scorching temperatures anticipate, Chillicothe’s Parks and Recreation Director, Bill Bonner, has announced a special measure to provide relief from the heat.
From Thursday, June 20 to Sunday, June 23, 2024, the Donald M. Smith Memorial Pool in Yoctangee Park will offer free admission during the cooler evening hours, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. daily.
The standard operating hours for the pool will be from 12 P.M. to 7 P.M., with regular admission fees in effect from noon until 5 P.M. each day. This initiative aims to encourage residents to beat the heat safely and enjoy the facilities during more comfortable times of the day.
