CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man wanted on multiple sex crime charges involving children is now in custody at the Ross County Jail after being apprehended by U.S. Marshals. Justin Stephens, 43, was wanted out of Colbert County, Alabama, on charges of rape, traveling to meet a child for sex acts, electronic solicitation of a child, interference with custody, and sodomy, according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
Stephens was taken into custody after being located by the U.S. Marshals and transported to Ross County, where he is being held without bond at the request of Alabama authorities. Officials in Alabama have requested that Stephens remain in custody until his extradition can be arranged.
