ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed home invasion that took place on October 14 around 7:30 PM on Anderson Station Road.

According to the sheriff’s report, deputies were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call regarding the burglary. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victims who described a terrifying encounter with two armed men who forced their way into the residence.

The suspects, both wearing ski masks, were described as a heavyset white male and a skinny black male. The victims reported that the intruders ordered everyone to sit on the couch and threatened them at gunpoint, demanding money. After a tense standoff, the suspects fled the scene in what was reported to be a dark-colored Honda.

As part of their ongoing investigation, deputies are working to obtain surveillance footage from nearby Westland Estates, a Chillicothe Metropolitan Housing complex, to help identify the suspects.

The Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they continue to pursue leads.
