CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The Ross County Health District has expressed appreciation to VFW Post 108 for a generous $5,000 donation to benefit families enrolled in the Help Me Grow Home Visiting program. The funds were used to purchase Christmas gifts for approximately 110 children, ranging from infants to five years old.

The donation, made possible through proceeds from the VFW’s slot machines, allowed gifts to be wrapped and provided to families. For some, these may be the only presents their children receive this holiday season.

A selection of wrapped gifts made possible by VFW Post 108’s donation to Help Me Grow Home Visiting program families.

Help Me Grow Home Visiting is a voluntary family support program designed to promote healthy growth and development for babies and young children. The program supports pregnant women and new parents by providing tools and resources to nurture their children during critical early years.

This donation ensures that families participating in the program receive a helping hand during the holiday season.
