CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police in southern Ohio executed a narcotics search warrant at a local residence, seizing cocaine, fentanyl and other items while arresting a Columbus man on felony drug possession charges.

Officers from the Chillicothe Police Department conducted the search Friday at a home in the 8 block of Deerpath Street, according to a department statement. Authorities recovered an undisclosed amount of currency linked to drug trafficking, drug paraphernalia, 27.5 grams of cocaine and 16 grams of fentanyl.

Dijon Leeper, a 39-year-old man from Columbus, was arrested at the scene and charged with first- and second-degree felony possession of drugs. Additional charges are pending lab results, police said.
