Gloria J. Speakman, 40, of Jackson, formerly of Chillicothe, died 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 in Grant Medical Center unexpectedly. She was born January 30, 1981 in Phoenix, AZ to Viola Speakman and Silas Jones.
Surviving are daughters, Kaylee (Daniel Scurlock) Lowery, of Waverly, Bethany Long, and Lacie Long, both of Jackson; granddaughter, Meelha Scurlock; parents, Viola Richards, of Jackson, and Silas Jones, of Pekins, IL; sister, Mary (Timothy) Owens, of Jackson; brothers, Gary Speakman, and Charles (Tiffany) Reynolds, both of Chillicothe; aunts, Davina McCumber, of Jackson and Patricia (Russell) Wright, of Chillicothe; uncles, Terry (Sharon) Speakman and Robert Speakman, both of Chillicothe; 10 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Gloria was former employee of Price Family Eye Care.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
