There is an active manhunt in rural Ross County this morning.
It’s happening in the 8600 block of Upper Twin Road.
Numerous deputies and a K-9 are in the area searching for a man who fled on foot after a pursuit.
Deputies have a perimeter setup in the area of Upper Twin Road and Kerr Hill Road. Troopers are also on-scene.
Deputies say the man is wearing a red shirt and has short hair with glasses; he is believed to be about 30-years-old.
It started at around 8:20 a.m. Saturday morning after law enforcement were trying to pull over a vehicle.
The man fled from them, driving through fields in the rural county, before the unknown man bailed on foot.
They have brought in a K-9 to track the man’s scent and are requesting additional SUVs due to muddy fields.
