John Trenton Wheeler

   John Trenton Wheeler, 14, of Laurelville, entered into Heaven on May 6, 2021 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 19, 2006, in Delaware, the son of John Logan (Ashley) Dune and Megan (Nate) Elkins, who survive.

    Trenton is also survived by his beloved siblings, Abagail Dune and Landen Elkins; grandparents, Chris (Allison) Dune, Hubert (Jodi) Wheeler, and Lawrence (Tammy) Elkins; great-grandparents, Kay Dune, Alice Moore, Dan (Kay) Luidhardt, Caroline Thompson, Mary Elkins, and Alvin Wheeler; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

   Trenton was a student at Zane Trace Junior High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gaming, and riding his four wheeler. Trenton was well known for his big and generous heart. He will be greatly missed.    

   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Cliff Harber and Pastor Mike Elkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 6 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill’s. Covid-19 precautions will be observed.
