ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Ross County Sheriff deputies attempted to execute an arrest warrant at a residence and found a small-sized marijuana grow operation.
Upon arrival at 2114 Black Run Road on Saturday deputies made contact with a man. The resident told deputies that the wanted subject would sometimes stay in a camper parked near the residence. Deputies located the camper but did not find the wanted man. However, a illegal marijuana grow operation was found.
Ross County deputies said they collected 22 pot plants from the scene and placed them into evidence until they could be destroyed.
Additional charges for illegal cultivation are pending, reports state.
