FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — I-71 northbound is currently shutdown, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Officials say a tractor trailer was blown onto its side during a severe thunderstorm in Fayette County.
The Guardian could not independantly confirm if there were any injuries in the incident.
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
ODOT did not specify a timeline as too when the interstate would be reopened.
