ROSS COUNTY, Ohio— The Ross County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a pursuit Thursday evening.
According to reports, deputies attempted to stop an older grey-in-color Jeep Cherokee for expired tags near the area of South Bridge Street in Chillicothe shortly after 6 p.m.
That is when, officials say, the driver took off, leading deputies on a pursuit.

The vehicle went off the roadway, through a field, into a wooded area. Deputies told dispatchers that they were unable to follow.
Two suspects in the Jeep were described as younger white males with beards.
A BOLO (be-on-the-lookout) was issued for the vehicle.
No further details were released at the time of this publication.
