CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe woman was found guilty this week after investigators say she supplied the drugs that led to the death of Charolette “Emily” Turner.
Ginger A. Gonz was indicted by a Ross County Grand Jury in February of 2021 and charged with corrupting another with drugs.
According to court records obtained by the Guardian, Gonz on May 6, 2020 supplied Turner with the drugs that would lead to her overdose death.

Assistant Ross County Prosecutor Carrie Charles said, “I am pleased with the jury’s verdict and want to thank them for the time and consideration they gave this difficult matter.” Charles went on to say, “I am hopeful this will allow Charolette’s family to heal and move forward.”
In a statement released by the Chillicothe Police Department, Captain Michael Short said, “I pray for the family and friends of Charlotte “Emily” Turner.”
Ginger Gonz will now face 2-8 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 31.
