WILMINGTON, Ohio — The National Weather Service says severe weather is possible today for much of the Buckeye State.
The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, has placed the area under a slight risk of severe weather.
Forecasters say showers and storms should develop late this afternoon into the evening hours.
NWS says damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats with these storms. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
Residents should have multiple means of receiving warnings should severe weather occur.
