CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — According to the Chillicothe Police Department, officers responded to a call near the area of the BP Gas Station on North High Street on reports of a man without any clothes running down the street.
Reports say that officers spoke with a gas station employee who said they had the naked man in their office. The attendant told police that they knew the naked man and that he appeared to be hallucinating.
Police located a 9mm handgun in a nearby trash can. The individual, police say, was handcuffed and placed in the back of a cruiser. That is when the officers said the man began hallucinating again and proceeded to kick the doors of the cruiser.
The man was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for evaluation. Doctors told officers at the hospital that the man had admitted to using illegal narcotics.
The individual was later charged with weapons under disability.
