ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A traffic stop in Bainbridge turned into a pursuit Wednesday morning as a motorbike rider fled from deputies.
According to initial reports, a Ross County deputy initiated a traffic stop along Main Street in the early morning hours. The bike rider, deputies say, fled, leading them on a brief pursuit through the village.
The rider proceeded east into an alley just south of Main Street, the reports read, and then toward a nearby field.
The deputy chased after the subject, making their way to the Bainbridge Manor Apartments on Shawnee Street.
Deputies reported that the individual managed to escape capture, the motorbike was located behind the 400 building in the apartment complex.
Officials say the bike was seized and transported to the county impound lot.
No arrests had been made at the time of the publication. The fleeing suspect is described as wearing a pink hooded jacket and blue jeans.
