ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — One person is in serious condition after being hit by a car in rural Ross County. It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Rozelle Creek Road.
According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, at least two cars were involved in the crash that injured a 19-year-old pedestrian.
The name of the individual has not been released at this time.
Medics from Huntington Township were requested to the scene. The man was later transported by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
The crash, deputies said, remains under investigation at this time.
The road was closed for a short time while crews worked to clear the scene.
