CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The man accused of calling in a bomb threat to Kenworth in Chillicothe was arraigned in court this week following his indictment.
Joseph Brown of Anderson Station Road in Chillicothe faces two counts of making terroristic threats and one count of inducing panic.
On September 28, shortly before 7 a.m., the Ross County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the threat. Deputies and the U.S. Marshals Office responded to the commercial vehicle manufacturing facility on Route 159 and began an investigation into the threat
According to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, Brown was later identified as the suspect and was taken into custody the same day.
If convicted, Joseph Brown could spend the next 7 years behind bars. He remains in custody at the Ross County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
