CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Work on the permanent supportive housing at McArthur Gardens has officially begun; Integrated Services for Behavioral Health, along with numerous public, private, and governmental partners, have taken steps to bring supporting resources to the Ross County community.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on October 25th at 11:00 A.M. and will be located at 1049 Columbus Street in Chillicothe. It is the site of the former McArthur Elementary School.
According to a spokesperson with Integrated Services, various Ross County organizations, and Integrated Services for Behavioral Health will combine housing units with on-site services for people who are either chronically homeless or at risk of becoming chronically homeless.
The first units will be available in Fall 2023, with completion of all thirty-two units by Spring 2024.
