ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio — A man wanted by the Athens County Sheriff’s Office has been taken into custody.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, the Southeast Major Crimes Task Force located and arrested Randall Deeds, Jr.
Deeds had been wanted on burglary and drug possession charges.
The Task Force said that Deeds was located after agents received information that he was staying at a residence in the 19000 block of Binderbasin Road in Glouster.
Agents raided the home and found Deeds and his live-in girlfriend, Ailleen M. Mays, age 36, Glouster, in a basement bedroom. Also, in the room were suspected illegal narcotics.
Deeds and Mays were arrested at the scene and transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
They remain in custody on previous warrants and parole violations. Additional charges, officials said, are pending in this case.
