CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — According to the Chillicothe Police Department, officers were dispatched to Centerpoint Church located in Shawnee Square on reports of a stolen box trailer.
Officers met with the church’s executive pastor, who said he arrived at the church Thursday morning and found the white box trailer, license plate number TQD9211, missing from the property.
The man told police that he reviewed security footage and saw a light-colored Jeep pull to the rear of the building. The suspect, described as a white male, exited the Jeep and then opened his rear hatch, where two large speakers could be seen. The man was alone, wearing a hooded shirt, jeans, and a backward ball cap, police said.
The footage, reports said, showed the suspect removing something from the rear of the SUV and then attaching his SUV to the hitch. The suspect then fled the scene.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact the Chillicothe Police Department.
