MOSCOW, Idaho — The small college town of Moscow, Idaho was left stunned in November when four University of Idaho students were found murdered. On Friday, law enforcement sources announced that a person of interest in the case had been taken into custody in Pennsylvania. 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger, according to ABC News, is being held pending extradition to Idaho.
On the evening of November 13, 2022, Moscow Police Department officers responded to a call about an unconscious individual on King Road. When they arrived, they found the bodies of Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, all of whom were students at the University of Idaho.
According to investigators, an edged weapon such as a knife was used in the killings.
