PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A pursuit involving the Ohio Highway Patrol ended in a crash Monday evening.
It happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the 4800 block of Duvall Road in Harrison Township.
According to troopers, speeds in the chase reached nearly 100 miles per hour. The suspect fled from the patrol and continued along Ashville Pike before making its way onto Duvall Road.
During the pursuit, spike strips, authorities say, were deployed. The spike strips were successful in reducing the high speeds shortly before the driver lost control.
It is unknown if there are any serious injuries. The circumstances behind the pursuit have not been released yet.
