Betty Louise Estep, 80, of Chillicothe went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 10, 2023.
She was born October 18, 1942, in Wilburton, OK, to the late Carl and Nancy Brown Hull.
She had been the wife of the late James Theodore Estep who passed February 12, 2006.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant child, her brother (Jody Cohen), her brother (Billy Jack Cohen), her sister (Ruby Bristow), a granddaughter (Kamra Lee Hedrick), a son-in-law Ryan Fox, a great grand baby (Eli Collins), and several other grand babies and great grand babies who were too perfect for this earth.
Surviving are her children, Janie (William) Hedrick, Carl Franklin Estep, Terry (David) Collins, Lexie Fox, Victoria (Daniel) Eldridge, and James (Nicole) Estep; grandchildren, Tamberlyn (Craig) Hawkins, Shawn (Donna) Hedrick, David (Michelle) Collins, Dakoda (Brody) Colegrove, Tyler (Randall) Newland, Logan (Kentessa) Collins, Braiden Collins and her fiancé Kenton Dalton, Kelsey (Jordan) Sturgill, Mitchell Fox, Madason (Logan) Brownfield, and Devyn Eldridge; many great grandchildren, Sydney Hawkins, Kaitlin Hedrick, Kayla Hedrick, Cole Hawkins, Ava Ryan Sturgill, Kylie Hedrick, Jessa Newland, Avary Collins, Kamryn Hawkins, Bristol Collins, Jase Newland, Jaxon Colegrove, David Collins III, Malachi Colegrove, Cheylynn Collins, Charlie Collins, Everly Brownfield, Emmalynn Brownfield, Elliott Brownfield, Thunder James Collins, Magnolia Colegrove, Jentry Newland, and Ellie Collins; sisters, Dorothie Dupire, Bonnie Hatter, and Lois Joyce; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Betty had been an active member of Beulah Chapel Church where she had served as Sunday School Teacher, was the advisor of the church van for years, where she thought of every child as her own, and was quiz bowl leader. Betty loved singing in the church choir. To know Betty, was to love her. She was a big supporter of her grandkids and great grandkids in all endeavors.
She will be remembered most for being everyone’s “Granny / Gran” and for her love for Jesus. She will be greatly missed on this earth, but Heaven just got a little bit sweeter.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
