NATIONAL — Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of Priscilla and Elvis Presley has died.
The 54-year-old Presley was rushed to the hospital earlier today in cardiac arrest, said TMZ.
Her mother, Priscilla, released a statement at the time saying, “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy during this time.”
Lisa Marie Presley is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She began her music career in 2003 with the album “To Whom It May Concern” which went gold and produced a hit single “Lights Out”. She has released several more albums since then and is also known for her acting appearances in shows such as “CSI: Miami” and “Touch of Evil”.
Her death comes two years after the suicide death of her son Benjamin Keough at the age of 27.
Funeral arraignments have not been released at this time.
