ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Humane Society is seeking information about two individuals who left a dog in their fenced-in area after hours. The Humane Society is reminding the public that it is both illegal and dangerous to leave a dog at its facility outside of operating hours.
If anyone has any information about who the individuals are, they are being urged to call the Ross County Humane Society at 740-775-6808 or 740-772-5929. Society officials would like to speak to these individuals and gather more information.
The organization was not aware that the dog was in the fenced-in area, and it was not until they released another dog to use the bathroom this morning that they discovered the animal. The situation could have been much worse, as both dogs could have been seriously injured.
