CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville residents should be prepared for potential traffic disruption, as the City of Circleville has announced road work on Route 56 East.
The road will be down to one lane at Barthlemas Park, specifically between the storage lockers and Rhoads Garden Center. The lane will be controlled by traffic lights, and the closure will begin today. Unfortunately, the end time for this project is currently unknown.
The reason behind this closure is a necessary slide repair project. The city hopes to fix this issue as soon as possible to avoid any further damage or issues with the road.
The project may cause some delays for those who frequently use Route 56 East. The city recommends that drivers plan for extra travel time or consider alternate routes.
