Dear Readers and Viewers,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the behavior of Adena Health System and its doctors. As a healthcare consumer, I believe that choosing where to receive care is not only a matter of medical expertise, but also a reflection of one’s values.
Unfortunately, the doctors at Adena seem to lack class and maturity. Instead of focusing on providing excellent medical care, they prefer to engage in petty competition with their competitors, such as Cohen Orthopedics. This competition has not only led to unprofessional behavior, but has also blurred the legal and ethical lines.
The newly-hired chief medical director at Adena was photographed at a party where a lot of alcohol was consumed, posing with a large photo of Dr. Brian Cohen, humiliating and desecrating the photo of Dr. Cohen. Why? Because that doctor, Dr. James Fleming, Jr., lacks class.
It is deeply concerning that healthcare providers would engage in such behavior, especially when the stakes are so high. Patients rely on these organizations to provide them with reliable and effective care. They should not have to worry about their doctors behaving like children on a playground.
In contrast, other organizations have demonstrated a commitment to professionalism and integrity. They understand that providing excellent care is not just about medical expertise, but also about treating patients with respect and dignity. Choosing where to receive healthcare is a serious decision, and patients should take the time to carefully consider their options. It is important to choose an organization that values professionalism, integrity, and class. Adena Health System has clearly demonstrated that it does not meet these standards.
In conclusion, I urge patients to consider their values when choosing where to receive healthcare. As consumers, we have the power to demand excellence from our healthcare providers. Let us not settle for organizations that lack class and engage in petty, unethical behavior.
Truly yours,
