CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Hometown Auto, located at 60 North Plaza Blvd., became the target of thieves, resulting in the theft of all four wheels and tires from a 2020 Dodge 1500 pickup truck. Chillicothe Police Department responded to the incident and gathered information from the dealership’s manager.
According to the manager, the surveillance camera footage captured the entire incident. The report states that on Wednesday evening at around 7:45 p.m., a Chrysler Town and Country van entered the lot. After circling the area, the van departed but returned approximately 20 minutes later, at around 8:05 p.m. The van parked next to the targeted Dodge 1500 truck, and two white men began removing the tires. One of the men, wearing a blue shirt, was seen using a tire iron, while the other individual was observed jacking up the truck. A female was also present, walking around the truck. After approximately 10-15 minutes, all three suspects loaded the stolen tires and wheels into the van and swiftly departed from the scene.
