PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Highway Patrol and multiple law enforcement agencies in Pickaway County are currently involved in a high-speed pursuit.
According to dispatchers, the driver has been traveling south along Route 23.
Just before 2:30 p.m., the Ross County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the chase was heading toward the county. Deputies, per the sheriff’s office, were asked to position themselves along the highway, ready with spike strips.
The vehicle involved in the pursuit is believed to be stolen.
It is a silver Toyota Corolla, license plate number DUV8077.
UPDATE: Just after 2:35 p.m., the patrol announced the termination of the pursuit. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Route 23 and Route 22 in the city of Circleville.
