ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The US Marshals arrested a man on firearm violation charges after serving a warrant at a residence in Ross County on Tuesday, July 6.

The man, identified as Dustin Strausbaugh, was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun when officers arrived at the residence. Strausbaugh was also on post-release control supervision for possession of a controlled substance.

Another man, Beemon Strausbaugh, was also arrested at the residence on the warrant that was being served. Deputies from the US 23 Major Crimes Task Force were called to the scene to investigate suspected illegal substances and paraphernalia that were found inside the residence.

Four juveniles were also found at the residence and were released to a family member.

Both Dustin and Beemon Strausbaugh were transported to the Ross County Jail.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
