ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man is facing charges of domestic violence, assault, and failing to comply with a police order after he allegedly stabbed himself in the head and then crashed his car while trying to evade police.
The incident began when deputies were called to a home on Piney Creek Road for a report of a self-inflicted stab wound and a domestic violence fight. The woman was being a victim of domestic violence by Brian Hall, who is his girlfriend, told deputies that the Hall had pushed her and stolen her phone. She said that the man then stabbed himself in the head with an unknown object and left the scene in his car. Deputies located the man’s car a short time later and attempted to pull him over.
