PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Two Ohio men were taken into custody on drug charges following a probe by the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force. Johnny Fitzpatrick, 50, of Portsmouth and Michael Anthony Lewis Jr., 42, of Dayton are both facing 1st-degree felony charges of drug trafficking and possession.
On Thursday morning, the task force, with support from Portsmouth Police SWAT, searched Fitzpatrick’s residence at 408 Campbell Ave. They uncovered suspected narcotics, including crystal methamphetamine, heroin/fentanyl, and crack cocaine, with an estimated street value of $10,913. Also retrieved from the property were digital scales, packaging materials, $2,355 in cash, and other signs of drug trafficking.
Both men are currently held at Scioto County Jail and are slated for arraignment in Portsmouth Municipal Court on September 15. The case is set to progress to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office, with the potential for added felony charges.
