ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Following the structure fire on February 2, additional details have emerged, shedding light on the incident that left a mobile home ablaze.
Upon arrival at the residence on Sugar Tree Road, firefighters found the mobile home actively on fire.
As the investigation unfolded, officials, present at the scene, cautioned about the potential presence of ammunition in the mobile home, urging caution.
Witnesses, reports say, recalled seeing a blue Chevrolet car speeding away from the area just before the fire erupted.
Further information was provided by and individual, who claimed to have rented the property from the owner and subleased. However, the individual told investigators that they had allegedly not lived at the location for about six months due to an eviction.
The Scioto Township Fire Department recommended contacting the Fire Marshal.
