JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — The State of Ohio Highway Patrol has released the names of those killed in a plane crash in Jackson County on Saturday. It happened at around noon.
The preliminary investigation showed a Piper PA 32 Cherokee Six crashed into a field, approximately one quarter of a mile north of the James A. Rhodes Airport in Jackson County. The occupants of the Piper have been identified as, left front seat occupant, Daniel T. Baker, 44, Jackson; right front seat occupant, Zebulon D. Logan, 45, Lucasville; and the left rear passenger was Dan Baker, 75, West Portsmouth. All three were killed.

The County Sheriff said the plane had taken off from Jackson and was returning when it crashed.
The Highway Patrol and NTSB are leading the investigation.
