SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — The family of 38-year-old Derrick Cordle of Ashland, KY, is asking the community for support following a crash that claimed his life. Cordle lost his life over the weekend in a fatal accident on Saturday morning, as confirmed by the Ohio Highway Patrol. Reports indicate that Cordle was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross State Route 73.
According to authorities, Cordle was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident, leaving behind grieving loved ones grappling with the sudden and profound loss.
The family of Cordle has launched a GoFundMe campaign. Expressing their shock and sorrow, the family shared on the fundraising page, “As my family and I are still in shock, I am doing my best to get funds together to be able to provide a proper memorial service for my husband as he did not have life insurance.
