CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A case of misplaced dedication, or perhaps a serious pizza craving, led to a call to local law enforcement on Saturday afternoon. Deputies were dispatched to a Star Drive pizza restaurant after a manager reported an employee refusing to leave the premises despite being scheduled for a day off.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the flustered manager who explained that the unnamed employee simply would not leave.
Thankfully, the situation was resolved peacefully. Law enforcement was able to escort the determined employee off-duty, although the exact methods of persuasion remain undisclosed.
The good news: the employee avoided a trespassing charge and remains employed. They are scheduled to return to their duties this week.
